The existing urban dwelling at 30 Wolfe Tone Street was a terrace house over 3 levels that was built 180 years ago. The house was purchased in 2006 and whilst it was in disrepair it had not been disfigured by unsightly renovations over the centuries.
The brief was to strip the house back to its original state and to simply and tastefully insert elements that would facilitate modern living. The renovations exposed elements of building traditions which haves ceased to exist.
